Parker Cinco de Mayo Salsa Throwdown!
Our annual Cinco de Mayo cook off had a salsa theme this year and the competition was fierce! Competing this year:
Scot Baker – “Salsa De Los Dioses” salsa
Jacob Rhoades – “salsa that is better than Scot’s”
Nikki Fleming – “salsa that is better than Jacob’s”
Chuck Williams – “Tastes better than it looks” salsa
Kat Grassel– “Bring it on Texas” salsa
After an intense judging process, the winner is… Scot Baker with “Salsa De Los Dioses!” Which is loosely translated to “Salsa of the Gods.” Scot has entered several Parker "food-off" competition and had yet to see victory. Most recently he experienced a narrow defeat in the "Christmas Cookie Smackdown."
Scot, your salsa was enjoyed by all and we congratulate you on your first win! Looking forward to what's next...

To start off April with a bang, Parker Technical held a week long recruiting contest to generate submittals, interviews, and hires over a one week period. The team responded with an amazing 75 candidates submitted to our clients, with nearly 30 interviews generated as a result!
Congratulations go to our business development manager, Christine Novak, for booking the most interviews, and Kat Grassell, for getting the most hires! $100 Amazon gift certificates as well as Mariner tickets were among the prizes awarded to our performers.
Alex Kralicek part of Swedish Medical Center's 100 year anniversary celebration
Alex Kralicek has had the unique experience of working with one of Parker's oldest clients in two respects: First providing them with administrative and clerical staffing to support their EPIC Go Live project, and then on a very personal basis when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and went to Swedish for treatment.
Her experience was so positive and her recovery so remarkable that she was asked to participate in Swedish Medical Center's 100 year anniversary celebration. Swedish produced 100 individual videos to celebrate 100 years of Swedish and Alex's video premiered today!
Check her out here. The video will be featured on the Swedish Medical Center website in addition to SeatteTimes.com and KomoNews.com as well as a commercial on KOMO4 through June!
