| Positions: | Customer Service Representative |
| Profile: | Nintendo leads the interactive electronic gaming industry with game systems such as the Nintendo DS and the Wii. The popularity of such well known games as Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Brothers, Pokemon and Wii Fit has given them both worldwide appeal and exposure. |
| Summary: | Nintendo has partnered with Parker Staffing for over six years to maintain a successful on-site staffing program. When the holiday release of their newest gaming system, the Nintendo Wii, went into planning they turned to Parker to quickly ramp up their customer support center. The dramatic popularity of the Wii and its cutting-edge technology created an enormous demand on the support center, and prompted Nintendo to double the number of customer service representatives needed to over 200. To address this rapid need, Parker developed a specialized recruiting program including targeted candidate sourcing, centralized interviewing and processing, and on-going management and retention. The program was immensely successful for both Nintendo and Parker. Over 2000 candidates were sourced, of which 700 received an initial interview, and 350 went on to on-site interviews. Parker filled 164 of the open CSR positions, many of those people staying on with Nintendo after the holiday season. The success of this relationship continues today, with Parker acting as the primary recruiting resource for Nintendo’s customer support center. |
